You’ll need good edges for this one. After matching on a small sharp crimp, you step right foot onto a tiny edge before reaching for the finish. The problem got it’s name from Jesse bashing his shins every time he lost his foot.

Surprisingly, this is only the second highest problem in the Robson boulders (the first is east near the Great White Whale boulder). This is a good warmup for some of the harder problems in the Main Room. I’m also not sure who got the first ascent, but it was probably David Bristow.

Another new Jesse on a day of new problems. This one might also be overgraded – it could be as low as V1. Can somebody go out and try it and then let me know in the comments what it should be graded?

I think over-graded this one. It would be great to have someone try it and let me know. I’m pretty sure Stewart got the first ascent. Make sure you do the sit start, otherwise it’s V0.

This is a fun highball on the back of the same boulder as red-headed step child. I’m not sure if it was Ian Caron or Caleb Patterson who did the first ascent in March 2003.

I’m not sure what Jesse has against Gingers, but so it goes. This problem, with it’s tricky flagging toe hook on the slab, is definitely fun.

This was the first problem done in the Main Room of the Robson Boulders. David Bristow or Jesse Redden got the first Ascent. The problem is trickier than it looks — funny side-pulls and then a slippery left foot with a high move to the right crimp will get you through.
