The Sport Mecca Of Kalymnos, Greece – A Trip Report

Escape the grey this shoulder season and head to Kalymnos, Greece, an island of tufa-strewn seaside cliffs that boasts some of the best sport climbing in the world. I was there a few years ago from October to November and, although some days were chilly, it was a great time to avoid the crowds, enjoy the sun, flame out on overhangs, scuba dive in the Aegean Sea and eat the best yogurt and honey on earth.
