Cranbrook Man to Climb 24 Hours Straight for Charity

Cranbrook resident Gord McArthur will tie in to a harness tomorrow at noon and begin an epic 24-hour, non-stop climbing marathon to help raise money for cancer.

According to an article in the Cranbrook Townsman, McArthur will be climbing a 40-foot outdoor wall on plastic holds to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House Southern Alberta and for Rob and Allison Amsing, whose two-year-old daughter, Charlotte, has been fighting a brain tumour.
